On 20 January 2023 certificate was awarded to technical staff from Banepa Municipality (BM) who have completed their training on “Earthquake Resistant Design and Retrofitting Technologies of Building” from 12 September 2022 to 25 September 2022 at Kathmandu University Technical Training Center.
The certificate was awarded jointly by Dr Diwakar Bista (Associate Director KU TTC) and Mr Shanti Ratna Shakya (Mayor BM) in the presence of officials from BM, Mr Shiva Pradsad Humagain and Mr. Dhurva Nepal.
The training has been conducted as part of the Agreement of Corporation (AoC) between KUTTC and BM. KUTTC, along with BM, will also organize various other programs and training in the future for people, students, local technicians, and professionals of Banepa as part of the AoC.
